Video Contest

New this year, we also invite videos of up to 90 seconds on the topic of “What instrumentation development means for your field.”

Submit videos here by January 22, 2020 for inclusion in the contest.  More information on how to take and submit videos before filling out the form is below.

Guidelines for making the video

  1. The files must be sent in  .mov, .mp4, or .m4v.  Either 1920x1080 or 1280x720.
  2. If using a smartphone, please record with the phone horizontally, not vertical.
  3. For best audio, get the microphone/phone as close as possible to any person speaking.    Good sound happens when the mic is within 1-2 feet of the person speaking.
  4. Please do not use copyrighted music for the recording, unless you own the copyright (if so, please provide documentation with your submission).

  1. All entries must be submitted using the official submission form.
  2. Please make sure that any people who appear in the video fill out this release form and include it with your submission (there is an upload field on the form).
  3. Post your video to your Yale Box account, share the link from Box with victoria.misenti@yale.edu, and type or paste the URL to the file in the relevant place on the submission form.
We look forward to your submission!
